No problems with the staff/location/care of animals.
Only issue I have is that the website and paperwork said the animal was 18 yrs old. I took out a veteran insurance only to find out she was only 14 yrs old and not eligible so had to mess about finding other insurance. Also the name on the passport was different to the name Blue Cross gave her which could lead to confusion when trying to insure.
Blue Cross just need to ensure that all this information is accurate for the potential adopter.

My experience with the BC has overall been a very positive one. Any queries I have had were dealt with professionally. I feel very supported in adopting a horse from here, and know help is at hand should I need it. I would definitely adopt an animal from the BC again and recommend them to others.

I rate the Blue Cross very highly for the care & compassion that they show the horses & ponies in their care. Plus their diligence in the re-homing process.
I had recently lost a beautiful companion pony, due to ovarian cancer, which I had adopted from the Blue Cross in Burford, six years ago. This meant that I was able to re-home another pony.
After discussing my own horse's temperament and my requirements they identified a suitable companion pony for me. He was perfect.
Now, five months on I have also adopted another companion pony from the Blue Cross in Rolleston via the Home to Home service.
The fact that I have adopted 3 ponies from the Blue Cross should speak for itself.
They offer ongoing advice and support if required. They ensure that the re-homing is working for you and the horse or pony and the welfare of the individual animal is always the top priority, which is fantastic.
The staff that I have met face to face and spoken to on the phone have all been very friendly and knowledgeable. The centre is very clean and well kept.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Blue Cross.
