On arrival to the centre it instantly felt calm and welcoming all staff I encountered were happy, chatty and very welcoming. After a short wait we were soon taken to meet Mocca and had a chat and I felt able to answer any questions I had and equally felt they were answered with good knowledge and understanding of Moccas needs and her story.
this was all prior to very helpful communication via email beforehand again I never felt I was pestering them or that anything was too much trouble.
im very glad to of been able to rescue and I thank the staff for all their help and advice and the offer of further advice if needed and they were keen to have updates from us going forward.

Thank You very much I would not hesitate to come back or recommend.

The staff at Burford Rehoming Centre made the process so easy. I was called within 20 mins of submitting my application and after a short but thorough interview I was invited to reserve the rats. On the day I collected them, the staff were understandably a little flustered as there was a dog giving birth and camera crews filming around the centre! However, I was seen very quickly and the rats' medical background, ongoing care and other bits were brilliantly explained to me. They knew I'd owned rats before so they knew that I knew what I was doing, so they weren't at all patronising and simply ensured I was up to speed with what these particular rats needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Burford Rehoming Centre and will definitely adopt from there again in the future.

A good friend had recently used Blue Cross to rehome a well loved cat after his owner passed away so I chose to look on their website because my beautiful, loving, tortoiseshell and white cat had recently passed away and my house was not a home any more.
I was looking for a different breed but it was the name of the cat needing to be rehomed that caught my attention first. This nine month old kitten was black and I had not had a black cat before. Having read all about Herbie (my late sister many years ago had had a tabby called Herbie and I felt I was meant to have this one) I contacted Blue Cross in Burford. I live in Northamptonshire so it was arranged I would visit Herbie and if he liked me I would bring him home with me. It was love at first sight for both of us. It is almost three weeks since my house became a home again. Herbie loves chasing toy mice, lying on the windowsills catching the sun and watching what goes on outside. He is very affectionate and comes on my lap for cuddles. I carried him out into my small back garden this morning so he could sniff the air. He was a little apprehensive but then had a walk around with me (he wore a harness and lead) and had a good sniff at several places. I am sure he will be out and about within a week or two. I am thrilled his confidence is building. He is very loving and in his own "purry" way he says he is very happy to be rescued by me. .
Blue Cross Burford are amazing with their dedicated staff who go the extra mile to match the animals in their care. Every details is covered for the well-being of them. I can't praise them enough.
