The whole team at HappyCats were lovely to deal with & genuinely passionate about cat rescue & placing their rescues in suitable homes. Both the ladies we met (the foster mum & the home inspection lady) were lovely. Everything was clearly explained to us and they took the time to discuss the program, cats & their needs fully with us. They were very clear about the kittens history & what had been done so far. The whole process was well communicated & managed in a timely manner. We now have 2 gorgeous kittens who have settled in very well. I would highly recommend the team at HappyCats Rescue.

When we decided to adopt another cat, we looked at local rescue places to find a Cat whose profile matched our circumstances. I saw the particular cat online and made the enquiry. He was rather "spirited" and at our first meeting thought that my hands were things to be eaten. And being a big strong lad with very sharp teeth and claws, it did hurt. However, he settled in well and we have had continued support from the rescue charity. Would recommend HCR to anyone.

A friendly, caring professional rescue centre.
We visited one Saturday, had been home checked and then bringing our new member of family home by the following Saturday.
Website is full of really useful information and the Facebook page was excellent and full of a fabulous community.
Adoption pack was comprehensive and handover detailed.
A dedicated team who are clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommended!!Review by: Rices

Our visit was to the fosterer, who was excellent in every way. We subsequently met the owner of the rescue centre as she did our home visit. Her hard work and dedication are second to none. She remains available for help and advice if needed and we can't fault the rescue service she provides. A true animal lover who has the best interests of both the cat and the potential adopter at heart. It's great to feel a member of this special family!

A small and independent charity where the love for animals shines through, with dedicated people who care wonderfully for the cats and kittens. I found Jo the founder extremely helpful and professional with great advice as I had only recently became a cat owner. Even after adoption her support is always there which I am very grateful for. All cats and kittens are microchipped and advice on neutering (vouchers available) is given. 5 stars all round :)

We were so happy with the professional caring service the first time that when we decided Henry needed a a play mate we went straight back to Happy Cats and were even more happy when we discovered that Percy was being fostered by the same lady. Whilst being fostered both cats were in a young family environment dealing with all the noise and commotion that comes with that so were well prepared for life with us. We were well briefed on their behaviours and told in time they would settle and true to word we now have two very different personalities but very loving cats. It was very clear that the representatives that we came into contact with were not in this for financial gain but for their love of cats and the well being. I like the fact that its not just the humans choice but whether the cat is suited to you is of paramount importance. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to adopt visit happy cats website

HappyCats Rescue is completely wonderful. This is a small, independent charity which is run with such love and compassion and the dedicated lady who founded it works tirelessly for all the cats which come into her care. She is professional, helpful and makes sure that you and the cat(s) are suitable for each other before the adoption process begins. There is a complete support package, including microchipping and vaccinations. If you live in the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire area and are interested in adopting a cat or kitten, then HappyCats Rescue should be top of your list of rescues to contact. Five stars all round!

I recently adopted a very sweet little Kitten into our home and I cannot recommend Jo at happy Cats Rescue enough! She has been fantastic throughout the whole process from the initial message I sent to her right through to now when I am messaging for advice with any teething issues getting him settled into the new home. Jo is personable and friendly and has a real passion for making sure these cats get their forever home. We went to visit her in her house and got to see her lovely Cats and meet all of the rescues .. heaven… there are so many gorgeous kitties and she is doing an amazing job looking after them until they are homed. You can see just how committed Jo is to finding the right homes and she certainly would not just home to anyone! Which is SO important with the amount of cats and kittens going back into rescue.
I was also so impressed with how thorough Jo was throughout the adoption process – conducting a home check, going through a form to ensure that we had everything we needed and also providing a huge adoption pack when we took him home which had so much information in there! I have owned my 3 cats for 6 years but I still found it incredibly helpful. We got a months free insurance with pet plan, lots of leaflets, and he was micro chipped and vaccinated as he was old enough. The service I have received has been second to none and I honestly will recommend Happy Cats rescue to anyone thinking of adopting a cat - Thank you Jo :-)

Would recommend to anyone looking to adopt a cat. Warm and inviting environment all cats needs being met and great after support. Our kitten has come from a 5 star rescue to a 5 star home. Lots of reading material given including the animal welfare act regarding cats, information on foods and plants that are bad for cats, flea and worming products, suitable diets and a 10% off voucher for PAH and warnings on a particular brand of products that have made cats very ill in th past

A smaller, friendly organisation with strong support from its community of fosterers, adopters and friends. Good that the cats are fostered in private homes so that when ultimately adopted they are used to the environment. Behavioural descriptions accurate. Only small thing - the vaccinations do not include FeLV which is regarded as standard these days - but this is something that can be quickly sorted once you have adopted your new furry friend(s)

The person who runs the Rescue Centre is great, she was friendly and knowledgeable and was really understanding of our situation. Because we are based far away from her we made arrangements with her to use a vet local to us for the vaccinations. She also used our current house visit report from Cats Protection Reading. She was understanding but did not hold us to any kind of lower standard. She knew all the kittens in her care and was able to tell us what to expect from our choices. Thanks. Adoption: June 2013

We rang Happy Cats with a specific request for a cat. They did not have what we were looking for, but took our phone number. A couple of weeks later they rang to say that they now had what we were looking for, and were we still interested. We were!
The cat was at the opposite end of the country, so Happy Cats got us photos and details, and once we confirmed we wished to proceed, did a home check on us, then arranged for the cat to have a vet-check with his own vet to ensure no problems. The charity then ferried him down to the local branch, and he went to their vet for some dental work that had been identified as being needed. They ensured he was neutered and microchipped, and then we were able to collect him, together with his medical history from his previous owner. The charity did offer to pay for the vetinary bill out of their adoption fee, but we preferred to pay for it ourselves as it is a charity.
They kept in touch to ensure he settled in well, and we were happy with him. All in all, the service we received couldn't have been better, and we now have a happy family, but more importantly, a very Happy Cat! Adoption: April 2013 -
